By BBN staff: A little under two months since the last time she made history, United States Gymnast with Belizean heritage, Simone Biles has done it again with another set of routines at the world championships in Stuttgart, Germany, over the weekend.
Biles, 22, successfully landed two historic gymnastics moves: the double-double dismount on the balance beam, which consists of two back flips and two aerial twists before landing, and the triple-double on the floor which consists getting a running start then making two back flips and three mid-air twists before landing.
Commentators for ABC News in the US said that both moves will officially be named after Biles, who was the first to ever successfully perform them.
Biles walked away with her sixth national title after the competition, making her the first woman in nearly 70 years to win that many accolades.
