San Ignacio and Santa Elena Mayor attends Florida’s International Trade and Cultural Expo

By BBN Staff: Mayor of San Ignacio and Santa Elena, Earl Trapp is attending this year’s Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo in Broward county.

This opportunity was made possible by the Belize American Chamber of Commerce in Florida.

Mayor Trapp is being accompanied by Councillor Shary Medina.

During the expo, Trapp spoke on the Caribbean Panel of the twin town’s current economic activities, its growth, and foreign investment opportunities.

Trapp will also meet with the Belizean Diaspora at a Town Hall Meeting to discuss possible collaboration for needed town projects.

Their booth at the expo focuses on the “Go Green Fund”.

“The feedback from visitors and interested stakeholders at the Expo are overwhelming so far and the council is very pleased with the outcome of the participation at such capacity,” a statement from the council said.
