Mexican Embassy hosts successful business meeting to strengthen commercial bonds

By BBN Staff: A successful meeting was held on October 9, 2019 at the Mexican Institute in Belize City.

The meeting was hosted for the presentation of Expo Pro Agro Innovación 2019, an important event that will take place in Chetumal, Quintana Roo on October 23-25 as an effort to promote bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

This business meeting was organized by the Embassy of Mexico, in collaboration with the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism – Chetumal (CANACO SERVYTUR Chetumal), and included the participation of representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture and Economic Development of Quintana Roo, and the presence of more than 30 Belizean agribusiness entrepreneurs, representatives of the agricultural sector, government officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and BELTRAIDE, as well as representatives of the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Belize Marketing and Development Corporation, who made this a very successful and productive event.

“The Embassy of Mexico truly appreciates the interest shown by the Belizean business community and reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting a stronger economic relation between both countries,” a statement from the Embassy said.
