Body of man found in Cowpen, Stann Creek 

By BBN Staff: BBN has confirmed with police that the decomposing body of a man was found tonight in Cowpen village, Stann Creek.

Authorities removed the body from the scene a short while ago and transported it to the Independence Polyclinic.

BBN is aware of the identity of the victim but his name is being withheld until family members are informed of his death. The man was residing in Cowpen for some time but is originally from a nearby village.

BBN will provide more details after the post-mortem is conducted and confirms the cause of death.
