Body of San Lazaro man found in shallow grave

By BBN Staff:  The body of a man from San Lazaro Village in Orange Walk was discovered in a shallow grave today.

According to reports, Hazid Diaz had left home yesterday to go socialize but never returned.

Around 10:00 pm, his mom asked for help from the villagers to search for her son.

This morning, the group found the shallow grave in an area 45 degrees north east of San Lazaro Village.

The body had apparent cut wounds on his face, neck and abdomen.

Investigation is ongoing.
