Man charged for murder after 2 year investigation

By BBN Staff:  After more than two years of investigations, police have made an arrest in the murder of Alvaro Aldana, 23.

On the night of Sunday, February 19, 2017, Aldana was shot to death behind PK Store in San Ignacio, Cayo.

Yesterday police formally arrested and charged Melvin Ray Charles Budna, 29, with his murder.

On Tuesday, he will be taken to court where he is expected to be remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison.
