Rainy weather expected to continue

The National Meteorological Service of Belize in its latest weather report says that rainy weather is expected to continue for the next 24-36 hours due to an area of low pressure.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy overcasts with outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms over most areas.

Today’s temperature will be 82 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 82 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 74 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing Northeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy-rough.

There will be a high tide at 10:24 a.m. and a low tide at 4:20 p.m. The sun will set at 5:31 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 6:22
p.m.
