By BBN Staff: The latest weather report, prepared National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that weather conditions are expected to gradually improve today as the broad trough of low pressure moves west of Belize.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies with sunny breaks today and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers, isolated thunderstorms or periods of rain will occur mostly over central and northern areas this morning, then decreasing, except for a few more over the south tonight.
Today’s temperature will be 86 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 10-20 Knots and the sea state will be moderate.
There will be a high tide at 11:02 a.m. and a low tide at 4:42 p.m. The sun will set at 5:30 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 7:01 p.m.
