Belize demolishes Nicaragua 7 nil; CODICADER U13 teams display impressive performance in Costa Rica

By Aaron Humes: The under-13 boys’ football squad have two wins under their belt in their group in the CODICADER tournament in Costa Rica. Belize opened with a 3-1 defeat of Panama, with a goal from Zimel Reid and two from Jazed Che.

For their part, the Canaleros hit back through Alexis Soto. Nicaragua were demolished 7-0 today by our U-13 football selection. Reid, Che and Austin Reimer had braces (2 goals each) and Jefferson Rodriguez hit once. Belize face Costa Rica on Friday morning at 7:30 am. Both the boys’ and girls’ mini volleyball also recorded wins in two sets each.

The CODICADER tournament continues through Sunday.
