Evagelical Churches celebrate ‘1 Day, 1 Million’ event

By BBN Staff:  The Full Gospel Church of God countrywide is today celebrating ‘1 Day, 1 Million’.

The event is being celebrated under the theme, ‘ We are all together in social action’.

The event is an annual event calling on members of the Church of God to get involved and participate in social action activities in their communities.

The vision of the annual event is to restore Hope, restore and reflect the glory of God and to respond in action.

The event aims to engage the church in making a positive impact on the improvement of its social environment.

Cayo West District Director, Manuel Gonzalez told BBN that the branches of Full Gospel Church of God countrywide have organized social events including assisting needy persons in the community by cleaning their yards, visiting hospitals, helping with donations to libraries, clean up campaigns, sharing food with the needy, assisting with medical attention and donations of groceries.

This same event is also being celebrated throughout Latin America, Spain and Andorra.
