Police investigating shooting incident in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Friday night in Belize City.

Tyrique Alexander Medwood,21, was at the corner of Sarstoon and Ebony Streets socializing with a friend when a man approached them and fired a single shot at them.

Medwood was shot to the right leg.

He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he is listed in a stable condition.

Police are investigating.
