Breaking: Belize’s CODICADER U13 football team denied again on penalties

By BBN Staff: Different day, same result: the boys under-13 squad were defeated this morning on penalties by Costa Rica.

Belize opened the scoring but Costa Rica equalized late and then denied three Belize shots to squeeze out a 3-0 shootout victory, and a 4 to 1 final score. With this loss, the Belize team was unable to secure the bronze medal.

The boys’ volleyball team will try to secure Belize’s first medal of these games later on. A win today would give us gold but our boys are already guaranteed silver even if they lose.
