Businessman robbed at gunpoint in Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: Businessman Efrain Amaya of Carmelita Village, Orange Walk reported to police that on Monday, October 21, 2019, he closed his establishment, Harvels Mini Mart which is about 15 feet away from his home.

Amaya says that when he was walking home, 2 men approached him and held him up at gunpoint.

The men took Amaya’s wallet which had $1,000.00.

Both culprits then escaped.

 Police investigation continues.
