By Aaron Humes:The Jaguars can still qualify for the semifinal round of the Central American Football Union (UNCAF) Under-18 Championship being held this week in Costa Rica.
That the win came against arch-nemeses Guatemala made it all the sweeter.
The Junior Jaguars held on for a 1-0 win, taking them to four points behind group leaders Costa Rica, whom they lost to 5-1 on Tuesday after drawing 1-1 with Panama on Monday. Costa Rica and Panama meet later today; if Panama wins they can qualify to the next round.
If the Jaguars make it they will face the winners of Group B, which includes Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador.
