Gun and ammunition found in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Proactive policing has removed a gun off the streets and out of the reach of criminal elements.

Yesterday afternoon police received information of a gun hidden near the corner of Jasmine Street and Fern Lane.

When police searched the area on October 22^nd they discovered a black plastic bag containing a .38 revolver and forty-one live .9mm rounds.

No one was in the area and the items were deposited as found property.
