Mayor Wagner donates to children at Days of Healing Headquarters

By BBN Staff: The Days of Healing initiative, led by Perry “Stickz” Smith has provided a sanctuary for Belize City youth at its headquarters on Vernon Street.

On weekends and even after school on weekdays, children congregate at the headquarters for mentorship in a safe child friendly space.

Additionally, this initiative travels countrywide monthly and provides an opportunity for the community to come together, eat together and interact in a positive way.

Pleased with the commitment of this grassroots organization, Belize City Mayor, Bernard Wagner stopped by their headquarters yesterday.

Mayor Wagner provided the children with a children’s pool table set and other gifts as an early Christmas gift.

The children were overjoyed for their new toys.

Mayor Wagner indicated to BBN that he is more concerned about the future of the next generation rather than the results of the next election.
