Increase moisture expected for today

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that weather conditions will gradually become moist during the day and into tonight.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated at first, then a few more will develop over northern and inland areas this afternoon and over most areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 65 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

There will be a high tide at 8:38 a.m. and a low tide at 2:34 p.m. The sun will set at 5:23 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 5:14 a.m.
