Shyne Barrow increases employment in Mesopotamia

By BBN Staff: Today, 18 participants of the Mesopotamia Job Center received their certificates of completion as well as new jobs.

We spoke to UDP Standard Bearer, Shyne Barrow, about his employment push and what this means for the people in his constituency.

Shyne said “this is all a part of my vision and plan to continue efforts to end unemployment and poverty in my Mesopotamia constituency.”

Barrow said “while the unemployment rate in Mesopotamia and the rest of nation is at the lowest its been in decades, one person without a job is still one person too many. One person living in poverty due to unemployment is one person too many.”

18 participants signed up for the 4 week program that taught them how to write resumes and develop proper interview etiquette. The Mesopotamians were examined and assessed to identify the employer that would be most suitable for them based on their qualifications and desires.

Barrow thanked the Love Foundation for being fundamental to bringing his vision of employing every willing and able bodied Mesopotamian to life.

There will be another cycle starting December 6 for another 18 people to participate in the job center and gain employment.
