Tracy Panton thought about being leader of UDP

By BBN Staff: UDP Albert Area Representative, Tracy Panton, stirred rumblings in the UDP when she applied to become its deputy party leader.

However, those rumblings became louder following a meeting two days ago with the women of the UDP.

That is because she publicly stated that she “gave thought” to the idea of running for leader of the UDP.

However, she said she had to be “practical.”

“Men are difficult to accept change,” she continued.

And so she says that she has to take baby steps.

According to Panton, she was advised to contest the post as second deputy leader of the UDP but indicated that she would not accept any kind of token arrangement.
