By BBN Staff: Belize’s Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams is facilitating a training for national and international police officers on “Interpol Cyber Crime Capacity Building in the Americas”.
The training is an intense 1 week event taking place at the Radisson in Belize City.
The one week capacity building training will focus in the area of “sexual exploitation of children online”.
All participants will receive a certificate at the completion of the training.
Last week, Williams attended the 88th General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol)in Santiago, Chile.
Interpol facilitates worldwide police cooperation and crime control.
The conference discussed global law enforcement issues and strategies to fight such issues worldwide.
Among the issues were trafficking in persons, gang issues, and cyber-crime.
