By BBN Staff: Belize City police have arrested and charged Joseph Richards, 23, with aggravated burglary.

It is alleged that over the weekend he gained entry into the second floor of Dario’s meat pie on Hyde’s Lane.

That was when Nicole Perdomo, 43, and another person were counting proceeds from the business.

It is alleged that both money counters were assaulted by the burglar who stole the cash.

Police received a tip and visited an area where they recovered the money and found the suspected robber.
