Police detain several but charge none for Welch murder

By BBN Staff: Today, police indicated that several persons were detained but none were charged for the murder of fisherman, Inmar Welch.

Sometime around 7 o’clock on Friday night, Welch left his home at Gales Point on a bicycle to conduct an errand.

However, when he rode pass a particular area he came under gunfire which subsequently claimed his life.

Police say they have no motive for this incident but did confirm that this village had been saturated with gang members.

The victim, according to police, had been charged with an offence in the past.
