“Moist weather to linger,” says Met Service

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize in its latest weather report says that relative moist and unstable conditions will linger over the country today and into tonight.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect the south and some coastal areas this morning, then mainly the south and inland areas this afternoon. Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 5-15 knots and East at 5-15 knots. The sea state will be choppy.

There will be a high tide at 10:34 a.m. and a low tide at 4:27 p.m. The sun will set at 5:22 p.m. and the moon will set at 6:58 p.m.
