New York Times publishes travel writing piece about Belize

By BBN Staff: As the word continues to spread about Belize’s unmatched tourism potential, a greater number of renowned international media houses are publishing travel writing pieces about Belize. This week, the New York Times, one of the top three publications in the United States and one of the top 20 publications in the world, published a travel writing piece that notes that Belize is being sought after by a special group of visitors.

The article “Developers, Retirees, and Snowbirds Are Discovering Belize,” written by Nick Madigan, was published today and highlighted the country’s potential for persons in the specified groups to come to Belize for its business prospects.

“They are part of a growing and persistent wave of foreign newcomers who see Belize as an opportunity to be seized,” the article said.

The article went on to discuss the potential and highlight what is already being done in areas such as Caye Chapel, San Pedro, Caye Caulker, and even  Blackadore Caye got a mention.
