Students participate in 4th annual Reading Contest

By BBN Staff: Students from over 9 primary schools in Cayo are participating in the 4th annual reading contest.

The competition is taking place today at the Cayo Center for Employment Training (CET).

The Principal of Bullet Tree Falls Immaculate Conception RC School and the President of the Cayo Association of Principals, Victor Pott told BBN that the reading contest consists of 3 categories with 27 students.

“ We have 9 students from Category 1, 9 students from Category 2 and 9 students from Category 3, so that makes 27 participants,” Pott said.

The winner of the contest will participate in the district finals which will be held on November 21st at the George Price Center for Peace and Development in Belmopan.
