Generally fair weather expected today

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report prepared by the  National Meteorological Service of Belize calls for generally fair weather throughout today and into tonight.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy at times tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated today and then a few more will occur over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 5-15 knots. The sea state will be choppy-moderate.

There will be a high tide at 11:56 a.m. and a low tide at 5:06 p.m. The sun will set at 5:21 p.m. and the moon will set at 7:49 p.m.
