San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council’s Child Advisory Body to host interactive anti-bullying training

By BBN Staff: The San Ignacio Santa Elena Town Council’s Child Advisory Body (CAB) is hosting an interactive anti-bullying training tomorrow.

The training will take place at the Aguada Hotel in Santa Elena, Cayo and is being hosted in collaboration with the Department of Youth Service and the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council.

The training will offer informative and interactive anti-bullying training for young people in primary and secondary schools.

This is the first phase of the Anti-Bullying program which aims to train over 70 students across the twin towns to become Anti-Bullying Ambassadors.

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors will educate their peers on bullying, promote a culture that celebrates difference, take the lead on anti-bullying and online safety campaigns, and help keep their peers safe – both online and offline.

The training will begin at 8 am and end at 3 pm.
