Dangriga resident shot at home

By BBN Staff: Dangriga resident, Darren Taylor, is injured but alive after he wrestled with a man who wanted to kill him.

Taylor told police that at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, he was at home in the Southern Foreshore area of town when he heard someone knocking at his door.

When he responded, it was an armed assailant. The two reportedly wrestled for the firearm during which Taylor was shot in the bicep.

At this time, he remains hospitalized in the Southern Regional Hospital.
