Tyler Perry studios to host Miss Universe 2019

By BBN Staff: The prestigious Miss Universe 2019 pageant will be hosted at the newly inaugurated Tyler Perry studios in Atlanta, Georgia.

Beauty ambassadors from over 90 countries will participate for the crown of Miss Universe including Belize’s own, Destinee Arnold.

Belizeans at home and abroad are rooting for Arnold’s performance at the pageant.

Tyler Perry studios, a former confederate army base was opened in October with a 330-acre property boasting 12 sound stages, each named after seminal black actors and actresses.

The three-hour show, hosted by Steve Harvey for the fifth year, will be broadcast live on Fox and Telemundo on December 8, 2019.

The studio includes 200 acres of greenspace and a diverse backlot.
