By BBN Staff: The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a relatively moist Northeasterly airflow will prevail over the country bringing cloudy spells and isolated showers.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, except for a few more over the coast and sea this morning then mainly over inland areas this afternoon.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 86 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 76 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 74 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing North-Northwest between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.
There will be a low tide at 8:19 a.m. and a high tide at 2:22 p.m. The sun will set at 5:20 p.m. and the moon will rise at 11:06 a.m.
