House destroyed by fire in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a home last night on Iguana Street extension in Belize City.

Around 6 pm, neighbors called 911 reporting that a house was engulfed in flames.

The home belongs to Bruce Reneau.

The fire was extinguished by the Belize Fire Department.

The cost of the house and its content have not yet been ascertained.

Police are investigating.
