By BBN Staff: At 10 o’clock on Friday morning police visited the home of Bruce Reneau on Iguana Street in Belize City.
There they conducted a search, which led to the discovery of a .38 revolver with three live rounds.
With Reneau at the time of this discovery was a female minor.
As a result they were both charged with firearm related offenses.
Later that night while Reneau was in custody, police received a call that his home was on fire.
Fire fighters contained the blaze but the building was still partially destroyed.
