By BBN Staff: The latest weather report, prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that relatively moist and unstable weather will persist for the next couple of days, due to the Northeasterly airflow that has brought on cloudy spells and showers over the weekend.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over northern and some coastal areas this morning, over inland areas this afternoon and over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing North-Northeast between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.

There will be a low tide at 10:30 a.m. and a high tide at 5:28 p.m. The sun will set at 5:19 p.m. and the moon will rise at 12:20 a.m.
