Protest at Benque Viejo Free Zone; riot squad deployed

By BBN Staff: BBN can confirm that a group of business owners from inside of the Benque Viejo free zone are currently protesting at the entrance of the zone in Benque Viejo.

The people are up in arms protesting a reported increase of fees in a decision made by zone management.

Eye witnesses report that the Belmopan’s riot squad has been deployed to the area.
