Generally fair weather prevails

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that fair weather is expected to prevail.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. Showers will be isolated, except for slightly more over the north and inland areas this afternoon, then over the south tonight and tomorrow morning.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 91 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 79 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 79 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

There will be a low tide at 12:22 p.m. and a high tide at 7:00 p.m. The sun will set at 5:18 p.m. and the moon will rise at 1:59 p.m.
