Generally fair weather expected

By BBN Staff: In it’s latest weather report, the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a “somewhat moist east-northeasterly airflow” will dominate the weather today, bringing cloudy spells and some showers.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated, except for a few showers and possible isolated thunderstorms occurring offshore and also over inland areas today, and then over southern and some coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 89 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

There will be a low tide at 1:05 p.m. and a high tide at 7:19 p.m. The sun will set at 5:18 p.m. and the moon will rise at 2:35 p.m.
