“Relatively moist airflow to dominate weather,” says Met Service

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that a relatively moist Northeasterly airflow continues to dominate our weather.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers or isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over southern and some coastal areas this morning and tonight and over inland areas this afternoon.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing Northeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

There will be a high tide at 7:23 a.m. and a low tide at 1:42 p.m. The sun will set at 5:18 p.m. and the moon will rise at 3:10 p.m.
