Generally fair weather expected today

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize, in its latest weather report, says that generally fair weather is expected today, with a gradual increase in moisture expected for tonight.

The 24-hour forecast says that skies will be sunny with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. Showers, if any, will be isolated today, then a few showers, periods of rain and possible isolated thunderstorms will occur mainly over southern and coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 89 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing North-Northwest between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be slight.

There will be a high tide at 8:10 a.m. and a low tide at 2:15 p.m. The sun will set at 5:18 p.m. and the moon will rise at 3:45 p.m.
