Fourth Belize Strong Man & Woman competition coming to Ladyville

By BBN Staff: The Belize Body Building and Fitness Federation (BBBFF) is inviting the public to the fourth Belize Strong Man & Woman competition scheduled for November 24th at the Ladyville Basketball Court beside the Community Center on Poinsetta Street.

The event will feature four events for the females: bench press, squats, deadlift, and tire flip; while the males will participate in the bench press, squats, deadlift, tire flip, farmers walk and vehicle pull events. The standing record for the Men’s deadlift is 635 lbs, while the standing record for the men’s bench press is 465 lbs. The standing record for the women’s deadlift and bench press are 335 lbs and 135 lbs respectively.

Mirna Paul-Greenidge, president of the BBBFF, said that the event promises to be a fun-filled family-oriented activity, where all the standing records for all events are expected to be broken. The event starts at 10 a.m. The entrance fee is only $2.00.
