BWS reminds residents of water-boiling advisory

By BBN Staff: The Belize Water Services (BWS) today issued a reminder for all residents in San Ignacio, Santa Elena, Esperanza, Benque Viejo, and Succotz.

BWS recommends that customers treat the water by boiling or disinfecting before drinking or consuming.

The Department of Public health and BWS will continue to conduct tests on the water quality in these areas.

Residents will be informed when boiling is no longer necessary.

BWS apologizes for any inconvenience being caused to customers in these areas.
