Man charged in assault case

By Aaron Humes: Aaron Gonzalez, a financial consultant of Wilson Street, Belize City was charged with harm, common assault and damage to property when he appeared today before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts Anderson.

According to the allegation, on November 9, Gonzalez caused harm and common assault to Diane Cleland. It is also alleged that on the following day, November 10, Gonzalez damaged Cleland’s Samsung cell phone valued at $1,500.

Gonzalez pleaded not guilty and was released on separate bail of $700 and $1,000 per his charges. He is not to interfere with the virtual complainant or any member of her family. Gonzalez is to return to court on January 14, 2020.
