One-hundred new Belizeans sworn-in

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, a hundred people from various nations became nationalized Belizeans.

They were sworn-in at the George Price Center in Belmopan, Cayo.

They recited the Belizean prayer, the Belizean anthem and then the oath of allegiance to Belize.

According to Minister of State in the Ministry of Immigration, Beverly Williams, this is the 6th swearing-in ceremony for 2019.

According to Williams, this is the largest group for this year.

Williams says that countries develop by migration and Belize is no different.

For 2019 almost 500 people have become nationalized Belizeans.
