Three men charged with robbery of J&A Shopping Center

By BBN Staff: Three men have been charged in connection with Tuesday’s robbery of J&A Shopping Center in San Ignacio, Cayo.

They are Stefano Mariano, Emer Trujillo and Carlton Mckoy.

Trujillo was additionally charged for wounding while Mckoy was charged for conspiracy to commit robbery.

It is alleged that Mariano and Trujillo entered the store armed with a machete and a pistol demanding cash.

After the proprietor handed over proceeds from the day’s sales one of the men assaulted her before fleeing.
