By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service’s weather forecast today notes that a cold front is forecasted to pass Belize tonight resulting in cooler temperatures.
The 24-hour forecast is for sunny skies with some cloudy spells. A few showers, thunderstorms or periods of rain is forecasted mainly over northern and coastal areas.
The wind will blow from the North to Northwest at 5-10 knots.
The sea state will be light chop to rough.
High temperatures are expected as follows: In the coast, 85 degrees Fahrenheit; 89 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Low temperatures for tonight in the coast are expected at 74 degrees Fahrenheit, inland at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and in the hills, 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
A small craft caution is likely to go into effect tonight.
The extended forecast is for fair, cool and dry weather conditions.
