Police investigate murder of Giovani Lennan

By BBN Staff: Giovani Lennan was shot and killed last night on Welch street in Belize City.

Police investigations revealed that around 7:18 pm, Lennan was walking down the street when he was approached by someone.

The man shot Lennan and then fled the scene but according to reports, a suspect was later detained. Police have not confirmed any charges.

Lennan was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. 

The investigation is ongoing.
