Police seize kilo of weed at San Pedro airstrip

By BBN Staff: Alert authorities conducted a cargo check around 6:00 last night at the San Pedro airstrip and searched a black bag, which contained a kilogram (2.2 lbs) of suspected cannabis.

The package was reportedly sent from Corozal to San Pedro.

The drugs were deposited as found property.

Police are investigating the source of the package.
