By BBN Staff: The Belize Water Services (BWS) today informed customers in San Ignacio, Santa Elena, Esperanza, Benque Viejo and Succotz that the boil/disinfect water notice that was in effect from November 5 has been lifted.
“We are pleased to confirm that BWS and the Department of Public Health have determined that the potable water quality has been restored; therefore, boiling or disinfecting is no longer necessary,” BWS stated.
BWS thanks all customers and consumers for their patience and understanding exhibited during this period.
