Accused murderer walks after prosecution drops case

By BBN Staff: This morning a man accused of murder woke up in his own bed at home.

He is a former security guard, Darion Hamilton.

In 2015 he was charged with the murder of Wilmer Cisneros.

Cisneros was stabbed to death by a security guard after he refused to pay the entrance fee to the bar causing a physical altercation with the guards on duty.

In court on Friday, the prosecution simply did not wish to proceed with the trial and so Justice Colin Williams ordered Hamilton a free man.
