Cayo North Area Representative announces new solar charging ports at Victor Galvez Stadium

By BBN Staff: Cayo North Area Representative, Omar Figueroa, announced yesterday that the solar-powered charging station at the Victor Galvez Stadium is now complete.

The solar-powered charging station is designed to capture and store energy from the sun. This energy is then converted so that it can then be utilized using traditional charging outlets and USB ports.

Figueroa says that it is part of a larger project that includes the entire electrical system being upgraded and the installation of eight LED stadium lights.

Additionally, decorative LED lights were deployed at the main entrance and LED street lamps along the entire walking track.

Figueroa stated that he hopes to expand this pilot project to all parks in the Cayo North constituency.
