Taiwan donates funds for new bus to police

By BBN Staff: Today, the Belize Police Department received a donation of $100,000 for the purchase of a brand new Toyota Coaster bus for police officers.

Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams received the donation from Taiwan’s Ambassador H.E. Remus Li Kuo Chen.

The bus will be used to transport police officers working at the Eastern Police Division in Belize City to the Western Region where they reside.

The Belize Police Department thanked the Taiwan Embassy for their generous donation.
